MAC LIPSTICK COLLECTION

I guess I can't really call this a 'collection' because I only have 5 lipsticks by MAC. The reason for this is that they are a little pricey, and I just haven't really been wowed over by the MAC lipsticks (apart from one which you'll see!).

1 - Myth, satin finish, I'm staring with this on as its my least favourite of them all, and it was actually the first ever MAC lipstick that I bought. I really don't get along with this shade because I find it to be extremely drying and it also really washes me out and makes my teeth look yellow, and ain't nobody got time fo' that!

2 - Angel, frost finish, I bought this shade a while ago as it is one of MACs most popular shades. It is a really pretty pink colour and I've only just started reaching for it again recently! It's also know for being a kind of 'universal' lip colour, so will suit most skin tones.

3 - Brick-o-la, amplified finish, This is my baby! I am in love with this colour. I first came across it after seeing Essiebutton wearing it in one of her videos, and it just had to be mine! Gorgeous brick red colour that suits pale skin - woop woop! 

4 - Creme Cup, cremesheen finish, Very similar to Angel, but its a bit more pink and less nude. If you're looking for a darker light pink colour (does that make sense!?) then I would recommend checking this out! 

5 - Hue, glaze finish, This is a nude colour, but I find it much much more wearable than myth. This shade used to be my favourite before I discovered Brick-o-la!! Pictures of the colours below because I can't describe them to save my life... 

Although I haven't completely fallen in love with MAC lipsticks, they do smell damn good!!

    I love the look of Brick-O-La however I dislike drying and sheer lipsticks so I generally reach for Cremesheen finish. Is Brick-O-La sheer or drying? Because if not I may have to go and grab it as I'm also pale.

      Brick-o-la isnt sheer, you can get a really bright red or you can tone if down depending on what you want! I get really dry lips and don't find it drying at all :)

    Loving all your colors. I agree with you though its hard to spend the money on a lipstick that seems to do just a good a job as a drugstore one!

    Ahh I have some of these and I absolutely love them! :) I need to try Brick-O-La, it seems lovely! Have you tried Rebel, it's hands down my favorite lipstick from MAC, it's gorgeous! <3

    I love your collection, my favourite one of yours is Myth I haven't tried anything from MAC but I don't know if I would have the same problems as you with Myth and £15 is a lot to spend if you don't like it!
